Signed glass bud vase by Norwegian artist Willy Johansson for the Hadeland Glassverk company. A deep purple amethyst color is suspended (Summerso style) in clear crystal, with a lovely aqua glass at the base. The curvature of the body tapers to a small opening.
Made in the 1950s, this collectible piece of European art glass history is signed on the bottom by Johansson and retains most of the original Hadeland sticker.
