Late Georgian Era - Circa Early 19th Century. … Read more This Really is an Exceptionally Nice Authentic Antique Early American Foot Warmer. Late Georgian Era - Circa Early 19th Century. It is Completely and Beautifully Hand Made out of Solid Mahogany Wood with Hand Cut Dovetail Corner Joints. The Thick Wire Swing Carry Bracket is Mounted with a Fine Lathe Turned Rosewood Handle. When Used the Original Removable "Tinker" Made Tin Lined Interior & Bucket Would have Been Filled with Glowing Hot Fireplace Embers - Coal and Sometimes Heated Rocks. The Top Panel is Pierced Brass. It Also has Round Brass Portholes on the Front and Back Panels to Disperse Heat. It is in Excellent All Original Condition - Displays Beautifully. It Still Retains its Original Varnish with Nicely Aged Color & Patina.
