A Caracalla glass vase designed by Swedish glass designer Ingegerd Råman (born 1943) for Orrefors. This vase is made of black glass that has been hand painted white to give the illusion of a textured surface. The vase is marked “Orrefors Limited 2004 9056-88 Ingegerd Råman 71-200” to underside.
Ingegerd Råman graduated from the Konstfack College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm and worked as a ceramics and glass designer for companies such as Johansfors and Skruf. In 1995, she was awarded a Swedish government professor’s title.
