It has been ebonized and finished with a lustrous French polish of museum quality. The table is covered in gilt brass trim and décor throughout. It is supported by tapered legs capped with bronze feet. The top has a lovely black leather writing surface. There are five dovetailed drawers with working locks and keys to offer ample storage for this sophisticated yet practical desk. This piece is in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition. See less
