About the Artist:
Vicke Lindstrand (1904–1983) was one of Sweden’s most influential glass artists of the 20th century. Later, as artistic director at Upsala Ekeby and Kosta Boda, Lindstrand introduced bold, modernist forms and vibrant color palettes that defined Scandinavian art glass during the mid-century era. Today, his works are held in prestigious collections worldwide, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Victoria & Albert Museum.
