An elegant Art Deco large bronze vase by Carl Sorensen with a beautiful verdigris original finish banded with gilt concentric bronze inlay and a bronze base. A classic piece, signed by the artist, that will make a wonderful addition to a collection, or as a stand alone decoration and conversation piece. Signed on the bottom with a script impressed maker’s mark that reads Carl Sorensen along with a ‘CS Bronze’ impressed emblem.

Carl Sorensen is one of the most notable bronze craftsmen of the early art-deco era. His elegant style is unmistakeable, with concentric patterns, metallic inlays, and unmatched green verdigris. Producing most of his work in Philadelphia in the early 20th century, Sorensen later became a designer for Tiffany’s in New York City.
