Vintage work by famed Italian designer Ettore Sottsass (1917-2007) for Florentine ceramic manufacturer Bitossi, dating to the late 1950s. A lone aqua dot floats in the centre of this little bowl on a ground of crisp white, which interacts with a matte black glaze to create a frothy lava texture.
Marked on base with Bitossi production number 3L/10 and Italy.
