Details:
Dimensions: 3'3" x 5'7" (39 x 67 inches)
Origin: Eastern Anatolia, Turkey
Age: Over 50 years old

Materials: Expertly hand-woven using natural wool on cotton and dyed with rich, natural pigments.
Design: Features a highly dense and fine weave with a striking, symmetrical geometric pattern. The vibrant red field is adorned with stylized medallions and motifs in shades of blue, green, beige, and white, framed by a detailed border.
Craftsmanship: The exceptionally fine knotting speaks to the high level of skill and care put into its creation. The rug has been shaved down to a low pile to strengthen the weave and minimize shedding, making it both durable and easy to maintain
Why it's a special piece:
Unlike many vintage rugs, this piece was not made for commercial sale but as a personal item, intended to be a family heirloom. This gives it a unique soul and authenticity. The natural dyes have aged beautifully, maintaining their depth and brilliance. Its unused condition makes it a rare and valuable item for any interior, from a modern living room to a traditional study. Add a touch of history and authentic craftsmanship to your home with this beautiful and durable piece of art.
The dominant color of the rug is a deep, rich red. This vibrant background is adorned with intricate geometric patterns primarily in shades of blue, ranging from a bold, almost royal cobalt to a softer, lighter sky blue. There are also accents of a muted, earthy green, and a warm beige or cream that helps to highlight the other colors and define the motifs. Additionally, a subtle brown and a touch of golden yellow are used for finer details, adding depth and contrast to the overall design.
