Designed by Hilary Knight (born 1926) the illustrator of the Eloise series of books.
Advertisement for the 1972-73 American tour of "No, No Nanette." After a Tony winning run on Broadway, the show went on tour with stars Don Ameche, Evelyn Keyes, Ann B. Davis (Alice on the Brady Bunch), Swen Swenson and Laine Nelson with Busby Berkley (1895-1976) [this should make you excited] supervising.
This is for the April - May 1973 production at the National Theatre in Washington DC.
This is not a poster but a screen print with offset lithography on thin cardboard, similar to movie theater lobby cards.
