The handpainted, detailed waterlilies caught my eye, as did the beautiful coloring. These plates have such an ethereal yet luxe quality about them, and the best part is that they are perfect for layering on top of other plates. Whether you have bone china or everyday white plates, these beauties will add a bit of panache! The back is marked "Three Crown China Germany" with three little crowns. They are also rimmed in gold for extra detailing. They show signs of wear, such as small spots here and there where paint rubbed off (please see photos). There is also a tiny nick in the gold trim of one plate (see the last photo—I didn't catch it until I was inspecting them to photograph.) Whether hosting a brunch, dinner, or tea, these will make a lovely impression. See less
