Headboard can … Read more Beautiful hand painted Italian headboard in a cream color with gold and black highlights. Painted in the 1950s. Headboard can be used on a Queen or King size bed. There are drilled holes on the bottom measuring 59" or 75". If the holes need to be redrilled, there is enough room to do so. The headboard painting is of flowers, birds and butterflies. Very good vintage condition. There is some paint loss in several areas but mainly on the bottom where it would not show. This headboard could also be upholstered with fabric and leave the gold frame visible. The last photo shows a picture of a similar headboard upholstered in a chintz fabric. See less
