A 1989 lithograph print by the American artist Gendron Jensen (1939-2019). Titled "Cantata," this print was printed by the Tamarind Institute and depicts grayscale fruit-like shapes suspended in space. Titled, numbered 13/30, dated, and signed along the lower edge, the work is displayed in a black frame and white mat.
Gendron Jensen attended the University of Minnesota, but moved to a monastery before completing college. While there, Jensen began working in the monastery's print shop and discovered his passion of drawing and printmaking. Jensen was best known for his large, detailed drawings of animal bones.
