Small circa 1960s Italian ceramic vase produced in San Marino (a small, independent republic within Italy). Features a highly-textured 'fat lava' glaze, one of San Marino's signature finishes. 'Effetto Lacca' (enamel effect) was incorporated in the hand-decoration of the piece and depicts a female face with flowers.
