The design was painted with a thick white enamel that gives it the look of cameo glass. It is highly reminiscent of Thomas Webb glass but is not true cameo glass.

The cranberry glass is thin and translucent, with a subtle swirling pattern. There is also a white cut out border at the mouth.

The base is flat with no foot. The word CAMEO within a lozenge cartouche has been overlaid on the base.

MEASUREMENTS
9 ¼ in (23.5 cm) tall x 5 ¼ in (13.3 cm) diameter. Weighs 1 lb 8.3 oz.

CONDITION
There are no breaks, cracks, or repairs. There is a chip on the foot and wear on the base. The body itself shows very little wear. There is still a bit of dirt embedded in the folds of the white design.

An artistic, hands-on 19th Century vase that has survived intact to today. The delicacy is incredible. See less
