This illustration was commissioned by the Texas Association of Business and Chamber of Commerce to commemorate 75 years of Texas industry. It features several classic Texas motifs, particularly relating to notable segments of Texas industry. Number 111/300
The artist, Jim Sharpe, is a native Texan and award-winning artist. He designed 30+ covers of Time magazine, TV Guide, and produced various other designs throughout the world. He is primarily recognized for his iconic Americana style.
