Antique Brass trivet with wrought iron under support. Shaped and hand cut iron mounted under the brass lyre shape. The handle is turned with a gloved pattern. The legs are turned iron feet and are reinforced by blocks to fit the table drawer and rest by the table. Fine cast brass in a grand lyre pattern. The measurements are 13" long by 5.75" wide, and 4.5" tall. Marked LONGFIELD 5 to the underside. This would be Essex, England 19th century ironwork.
