An impressive large vintage Moroccan Moorish lantern, handcrafted in Marrakech, Morocco, circa 1960. This decorative architectural lantern combines intricate pierced metalwork with richly colored glass, reflecting the traditional craftsmanship and geometric artistry of North African Islamic design.

The tall, multi-faceted body features a series of arched openings framed by finely cut metal panels, complemented by textured glass inserts in jewel tones of cobalt blue, emerald green, amber gold, and clear glass. Its warm, antiqued bronze-color finish enhances the intricate openwork patterns and gives the piece an authentic aged character.

The lantern's distinctive silhouette includes a pierced domed crown decorated with geometric star motifs, a cylindrical neck with a circular hanging ring, and a faceted lower section terminating in a flared metal base. Small pointed finials accent the upper perimeter, adding an architectural quality reminiscent of traditional Moroccan and Andalusian lanterns.
