The base has low relief Ruyi head scrolls with ruyi head feet. The base is probably Hongmu rosewood and from the 19th century. Can hold an object up to 2 ¾ Inches (7.0 cm) but the surface is slightly rounded so approximately 2 1/4-2 3/8 (6.0 cm) would fit best.

Condition: Some small damages =with losses to the ruyi head carved feet.
