Meiji period antique Japanese lantern with Paulownia crest, Meiji Period 1868-1911
Excellent condition, metal construction, very well cared for and stored carefully. Owner purchased in 1990's. Lantern is authenticated and appraised for $3200 (in 1998) from Gumps in San Francisco.
A real showpiece for any home that has a place for Japanese antiques.
The lamp is not wired for electricity, but could be.
22" high by 15"" wide
