Full of rustic character and graceful curves, this antique Louis XV nightstand reflects traditional French craftsmanship. Crafted in France circa 1780, the petite oak table features an open upper compartment with a shaped shelf, scalloped gallery, and pierced side panels with decorative handholds.
Below, a single drawer fitted with a brass bail pull provides additional storage. The scalloped apron rests on four slender cabriole legs ending in delicate hoof feet, giving the piece a graceful silhouette. The hand-carved details and deep, rich oak patina enhance its authentic country French appeal.
Ideal as a bedside table, occasional table, or decorative accent in a living room, this antique piece is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, with surface wear consistent with its history.
