For sale is a beautifully colored and fine condition red lacquer 2 piece Chinese baby bath,
purchased by the current owner from an asian antique shop in Europe in the 1990's.

Similar baths are typically from the 1800's although there is no definitve date of manufacture.

Great conditioning the deep red color is the finest I have seen.

Constructed of wood (probably bamboo) with metal bands. The metal liner (tin, or possibly pewter or lead) sits inside the lower section of the bath and was added afterwards (to hold plants or other decorative items) and can be removed easily.
