Mid-Century Modern) to Campaign style round to oval expanding dining table attributed to the Tung-Si collection by Hickory Manufacturing. This piece has been attributed based upon archived research including online sources, vintage documentation and catalogs, designer literature, and other materials however, it is not signed or marked in any way. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, it has been cleaned & oiled. The top has some scratches that have not penetrated the finish; and some indentations where someone was doing their math homework! We did not refinish as we love its charm. You could refinish if you prefer. as they are part of the condition report. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, Mid-20th Century.

The White Furniture Company was founded in 1881 in Mebane, North Carolina. These two companies operated separately in North Carolina for many years, both establishing elite reputations as premier manufacturing companies. Until 1988 they joined companies and merged operations into the Hickory Manufacturing Co. facility in Hickory, N.C., united their names, and became known as the Hickory White Company.
