Pair of Vintage 19th Century French Ceramic Barbotine Wall Platters With Apples and Pears. Colorful, antique Majolica plate was sculpted in France, circa 1880. Hand painted platter features three red and green apples and pears hanging from a tree branch covered with green leaves. The sculpted additions are in high relief, and painted in a soft, pastel palette mixed with soft browns, blues, and pinks. The porcelain plate should be hung on a kitchen or breakfast room wall as decoration. This pair is in excellent condition with age and use. Marked on the back.
