A fine pair of 18th century tripodal prickets with bold fully three dimensional feet forming the base, each supporting a fluted baluster terminating in the flared flat top. Lovely details such as the finley scrolled feet, gadroon carving and beading. Surface is heavily distressed yet very attractive and stable, with areas of silver gilt loss where red clay bole shows through, and a hint of gold in places due to old shellac finish.
