A Nice Antique Staffordshire "Feather" Pattern Red Transfer Decorated Plate, Circa 1830's
Made by Wood & Challinor of Tunstall, Stole on Trent, England circa 1828-1843
a favourite pattern among collectors, as it comes in a variety of colours. We have a red/pink example here.
Pink transfer peacock feathers with blue and yellow cold painted floral highlights.
Size: 8 1/4" across.
Condition: Very nice condition, shiny glaze, minor crazing, and light staining. Use and wear marks associated with age and use.
