Early 20th century Ansonia Regulator key wound, chiming wall clock. Schoolhouse style mahogany case with glass door over round brass pendulum. White face with black Roman numerals and black metal hands. Center of face features an advertisement for Gus Jones - Watchmaker - Bargoed. Manufactured by Ansonia clock Company, Brooklyn, New York, USA.
Gus Jones is a family owned independent jeweler whose first store opened in 1903 in Bargoed, Wales. The company continues to operate out of locations in Abergavenny, Blackwood, and Ebbw Vale, although the Bargoed location was closed in 2024. (Professional Jeweler)
