A large pair of contemporary Chinese hand painted ceramic vases. Decorated in front with trailing weeping willows in yellow and little birds in blue and orange. In the back, vases are signed with the artist's signature and date of creation, "甲午冬日軒作 (Jiǎwǔ Dōng Rì Xuān Zuò)," indicating it was made in the winter of the jiawu year (2014). They are also signed with the “San Yang Kai Tai" phrase, a well-known Chinese saying associated with good fortune and a promising future, often linked to the start of a new year. Dimensions per vase.
