A black and white photograph of J. Edgar Hoover shown in his office in Washington on Feb. 7, 1950. This is a close up cropped version of the original photograph. The photographer was Herbert K. White. John Edgar Hoover was an American attorney and law enforcement administrator who served as the first director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
This was acquired from Gallagher's Steakhouse Restaurant in New York City. The frame is made of black painted wood with glass. Good condition with surface wear from prior use. There are two predrilled holes for mounting. The dimensions are 18.25 in. H x 15.25 in. W x 0.75 in. D.
