Good used condition. Stable and sound in construction with age related marks. No rust!
This is an original Knoll piece and has the Knollstudio logo and Marcel Breuer's signature stamped on base of chair.
Marcel Breuer was an apprentice at the Bauhaus in 1925 when he conceived the first tubular steel chair. Named for his contemporary Wassily Kandinsky the tubular frame was inspired by a bicycle.
Materials: Frame: Seamless tubular steel with a polished chrome finish or epoxy paint in onyx, white and dark red ultra matte.
Belting leather: highly durable Spinneybeck belting leather.
