It dates to circa 1750–1800 and reflects the restrained sophistication characteristic of the final Georgian era. Its oak construction—visible in the dovetailed drawer and solid, joined frame—shows traditional craftsmanship from the period. The top is made from joined oak boards with a gently moulded edge. The apron is delicately scalloped and supports graceful cabriole legs ending in pad feet. A single, shallow oak-lined drawer retains an original brass bail handle, fitting the Georgian aesthetic. with its compact size, this versatile piece works beautifully as a lamp table, side table, or occasional table in a period hallway, living room, or study.
