This iconic swivelling lounge chair was designed by Arne Jacobsen 1958 for the SAS Royal Copenhagen Hotel in Denmark and is one of the most famous chairs in the world recognized by design lovers in all countries as the Egg chair. It is the classical midcentury Scandinavian designer furniture which made Danish furniture design famous on all continents. Arne Jacobsen knew how to combine materials and shapes to make iconic furniture that are now more popular than ever before. Danish design at its best. This piece has been produced by Fritz Hansen as Mod. No 3317 in 2018. It belongs to a limited special 60s Anniversary Edition and is numbered no 415/1958 and signed. Its base base has a guilded surface and the extra soft light warm pastel beige PURE Leather upholstery underlines the exclusive look of this rare limited edition.
