The lustre glaze exhibits areas of pale staining and iridescence throughout, consistent with the series' distinctive visual character. The interior is decorated in mother-of-pearl lustre, transitioning from a pale blue-green tone near the center to deeper hues near the rim. At the center is an elaborate "Coiling Dragon" design in gold and polychrome enamel, executed with intricate detailing and framed by a gold foliate border. Additional stylized gold medallions are spaced around the interior walls. Marked with the Wedgwood Portland Vase backstamp.
