the se 119 model was manufactured from 1953 onwards and is one of the most important examples of functional seating furniture from the post-war period in germany.

this design is characterized by its sophisticated combination of ergonomic shaping, space-saving folding mechanism, and sturdy solid wood construction.

the chairs consist of a solid beech wood frame characterized by slender, tapered legs and a classic frame connection. The seat and backrest are made of multi-layered, anatomically shaped beech plywood and finished with a natural wood surface.
