It is not known who produced these chairs and when exactly. They are not marked. We assume they were manufactured in the 1950s, but the production date could also be earlier. Possibly produced in Poland or the Czech Republic in a former (nationalized) Thonet factory. A striking detail are the wooden tubes that are used on both sides of the seat, between the seat and the frame/legs. Here, usually only the metal connecting rod is visible. The chairs feature a so-called crocodile print (pressed wooden seat with relief reminiscent of crocodile skin), a variation on the model with smooth wooden seat and backrest. This "print" was also used by Thonet.

The chairs are in original condition, have a honey brown color and a beautiful patina. Structurally sound.
