Roland Helmer, born in 1940 in Karlovy Vary, Bohemia.
Original color serigraph, 1972, on art cardboard, in yellow, red, blue, green, and black.
Roland Helmer usually signed his paintings on the back of the cardboard. Since the frame cannot be opened from the back and we don't want to open the back of the cardboard, we can only assume that the painting is signed on the back.
Title of the work: "Jalousie" (Blinds). Similar paintings are listed in the catalogue raisonné, presumably D37, page 155. The catalogue raisonné from St. Johann Verlag will be enclosed with the painting.
