Original blueprint for a motor launch built for the famous steam yacht Hi-Esmaro.
Originally laid down on the 14th November 1928 as the steel hulled yacht Hi-Esmaro by Bath Iron Works, Bath, Maine. Launched 7th June 1929 & Delivered 20th August 1929. Collided with a tanker off Newport, Ri in July 1929 and returned to Bath Iron Works for repairs. Acquired by the Navy on the 16th October 1940.
This original blueprint is drawn at a scale of one half inch to the foot. This is a big tender. The type needed for such an enormous yacht. Details on the plan include yacht ensign, Manville private burgee, cabin, spotlight, bow light; canopy, ventilator, funnels, railings, etc.. Very elegant craft.
Legend reads "Alternative Profile", Eldredge McInnis Inc. Naval Architects 131 State St. Boston, Hi-Esmaro 1/2 inch = 1 foot.
