Genuine solid brass ship's lantern by Japanese maker Nippon Sento Co. LTD. Clear Fresnel glass lens with removable red filter. Mid twentieth century anchor lantern that has been meticulously polished and lacquered to an incredible level, then wired for home use. First class restoration. Probably from a supertanker. Mounted to a thick mahogany base. Circa 1968.
