The style of this piece is very reminiscent asafo flags created by the Fante people of coastal Ghana. Unfortunately, we can only guess at this gorgeous textile's provenance.

Condition: In vintage condition with light signs of wear and sun fading consistent with age. No major stains or tears. the textile has raw edges and may have once been part of a larger piece.
