Vintage French Louis XVI style square upholstered ottoman with hand-carved floral rosettes on the corners and fluted, spiral-carved legs with ring-and-dot motifs at the top. While serviceable as is, this piece would be amazing with new upholstery and paint.

The wood appears to be beechwood or fruitwood finish with "simulated" decorative woodworm holes near rosettes. The ottoman takes weight. Again, there is a slight wobble to it that will need to be addressed. The legs show no signs of breaks or repairs. It is light in weight. It would be best used as an upholstered coffee table due to height. I am happy to answer any questions you may have prior to purchase or to send more photos if needed. less
