The birds are depicted in high relief, their outstretched wings creating a dynamic and fluid effect around the vase. The surface alternates between satin-finished and glossy areas for a sense of depth characteristic of Lalique productions.
Manufacturing Technique: Molded-pressed glass, satin-finished and brightly polished in places. Relief decoration of stylized swifts in flight.
An emblematic model of the second half of the 20th century, this vase illustrates the revival of the Lalique house under the direction of Marie-Claude Lalique, with a powerful naturalistic decoration and refined relief glasswork. Very good condition, minimal signs of use
