Approximately 1870s Dutch mirror cabinet or display cabinet, typically Victorian.
The richly decorated top moulding with scroll motifs, foliage and floral elements
point to the Baroque or Rococo style.
It is made of walnut wood with elegant black lacquered ornaments and has convex panels in the lower cabinet with decorative frames. The mirror has a bevelled edge.
It is missing part of a round ‘spool’, which I have indicated with an arrow in one of the photos. There are also some slight signs of wear on the black edge, the rest is in very good condition.
