This lovely to look at petite vessel is perfect for ikebana, just add snipped fresh flowers (or faux) at the base for a simple arrangement or forage moss and rocks to create a landscape.

It measures 2¼” x 6” x 6” H/W/D; inner lip diameter 4¼”; interior 5” x 5” x 1½” W/D/H; weight 13 oz.; handcrafted from earthenware with a black matte glaze finish with hints of white clay under the textured surfaces. The all-around heart-shaped fleur-de-lis motif adds a bit of whimsy to the vessel’s look-and-feel. Photos were taken in the round to show all sides and any varying shades and nuances of color and texture. Handcrafted by an unknown Japanese artisan sometime in the late 1950s to early 1960s; marked on the underside Japan. In excellent condition with age-appropriate wear. There is no drain hole. The faux succulent is included.

For a collector of out of the ordinary petite planter vessels and cachepots, this Zen-like beauty should be a must have!
