Estimated to be made in the early 1950’s — possibly even a decade or two before — stands about 20 inches tall, 23.25 inches long, & 7.25 inches wide. The craftsmanship really shows—from the sculpted mane to the tooled leather saddle. It even has decorative wheels underneath & a natural fiber tail for an extra realistic touch.

Although it may have been a toy when it was first made, most would say it’s not a toy any more. This piece is more of a decor item. Something that would be perfect for a nursery, shelf, or vintage folk art display. You can see some honest wear from age, including a visible crack at the front leg joint & some paint loss on the ears (all shown clearly in the photos) — this damage has all been considered & factored into the listing price.
