Classic bent rattan meets graphic drama in this Mid-20th Century three-seat rattan sofa by Ficks Reed. Featuring an arched apron design and curved rattan arms, the frame has been previously painted in white and shows signs of layered paint and age-appropriate wear. Upholstered in a bold black and cream houndstooth textile, the cushions are well-loved and worn — but undeniably fabulous.
The piece has been cleaned and scrubbed, with some frame repairs made for structural integrity.
Wrappings show age and breakage in areas, and have been painted over in past restorations.
Styled with a mix of animal print and tropical pillows (included for staging only), she’s got a whole lot of Old Florida personality and is ready for her next chapter. Use as-is for a relaxed, collected look, or refinish and reupholster to suit your vision.
