Rendered in the Kyoto tradition, the vessel rests on a circular foot with twin loop handles and domed lid, both enhanced with raised moriage and polychrome enamels.

The interior exhibits the classic fine crackle glaze, while the underside bears a red-seal artist’s mark beneath transparent glaze.
Measuring 14.5 inches wide, this substantial covered bowl exemplifies the opulent craftsmanship of Japan’s export porcelain c. 1890–1910 — a striking centerpiece for Asian Décor or collector display.
