18th-century Dutch tea caddy with bronze lock and handle. Bombay sides and burl wood finish on the outside, on the inside three divided compartments with green, felt patches over the lid underside. Missing Pewter or porcelain tea containers, and the lock has a key but doesn't function. Domed and rolled lid and sides on small block feet. The whole in good condition and showing past tightening of the joints. The size is 8.75" wide, 5.5" deep, and 5.5" tall
