A rare and striking piece by Jeffrey M. Andrews of Felt Glass Studios, this kiln-formed glass bowl is a masterful example of 1990s American studio glass. Handcrafted in 1993 and signed by the artist, the form features delicate, scalloped edges and a cool, translucent aqua body. The flowing organic shape showcases Andrews’ keen eye for modern design and tactile form.
Andrews, a VCU design graduate and Fulbright nominee, founded Felt Glass after stints with celebrated designers like Don Shepherd and the iconic Annieglass studio. His work has been exhibited nationwide, including at the American Crafts Council shows and in top-tier retailers such as Barneys, Gumps, and Neiman Marcus.
