A large Chinese porcelain huaniao fangtongping, a stoutly potted, four sided, sleeve shape vase of heavy weight, with a shelf … Read more A large Chinese porcelain huaniao fangtongping, a stoutly potted, four sided, sleeve shape vase of heavy weight, with a shelf rim with interior pinched corners, indented vertical corners around the blue and white glazed exterior and a white glazed interior and square insert centered in the unglazed base. The four sides are decorated with finely drawn and detailed bird and flower scenes with an inscription including the artist's signature in blue, xingshu script and one seal mark. A blue, Jǐng Dé Zhèn Rén Mín Cí Chǎng Chū Pǐn, place mark in kaishu script is glazed to the inset base. Circa Peoples Repblic of China era, mid century. Excellent vintage condition.
