The case is an elongated briefcase of black embossed crocodile pattern on calfskin (mock crocodile) and the hardware is custom-made and gold plated. The set consists of hand cut resin playing checkers, each individually turned by hand - each is unique. The board itself is made from wood, a precision piece of parquetry. The checkers in this set are alabaster and cinnabar colored, the board spires are terracotta and cinnamon colored, and the dice cups are smooth black calfskin.

This set has never been used and the checkers and cups remain in their original packaging, unopened.
