Pair of early 20th-century Bradley & Hubbard cast iron bookends featuring the Petit Parthenon design. Retaining their original deep red paint with aged patina, these classical Greek Revival architectural forms bring historic charm to any shelf. A perfect decorative accent for libraries, offices, or collectors of antique bookends and Americana metalwork. The outward-facing paint has oxidized over time to a darker, muted red creating a rich, aged patina, unexposed surfaces are original cherry red.
